"Appreciation is a wonderful thing;
it makes what is excellent in others
belong to us as well."
- Voltaire
This series has been created through volunteer efforts alone. It takes careful thought and consideration to create inspirations for a large audience with a conscious effort to honor everyone concerned.
When we add together the time the volunteers have invested in their contributions: the communications with all contributing parties, the research involved, the artwork and typesetting contributed, and the time to create the inspirations themselves - we realize that over eighteen hun-dred volunteer hours have been contributed to this project.
The results of this collaboration will benefit our larger community in a number of ways including providing scholarships for deserving students and funds for children with special needs.
We would especially like to thank the following organizations and individuals (in alphabetical order):
- Suzanne Arlie and Arlie & CompanyFor contributing time and talent to the typesetting of this book.
- Alison Asher, Committee ChairFor initiating this project and inspiring us all to make it a reality.

Efforts have been made to contact and properly acknowledge each of the contributing authors and photographers.
